As a board-certified OB/GYN, Nikki enjoys the privilege of caring for the women of Milwaukee and their tiny growing humans. She earned her Bachelors of Science with Honors in Psychology from the University of Iowa. She earned her M.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She went on to complete her residency in OB/GYN at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and subsequently signed on as a faculty attending physician in 2013. Her vibrant demeanor encourages a safe environment for communication, leadership and the development of resident physician and medical student education.
Lauren Walsh, MD

Lauren is a board-certified family medicine physician with Advocate Aurora Health who also provides obstetric care for her patients. She currently works as a faculty member of a rural family medicine residency. Lauren grew up on a farm and, as a result, has been present for all kinds of births and is passionate about helping women through pregnancy. Lauren completed her residency in Family Medicine through the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Go Badgers and On Wisconsin!

Christy is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and has a love for working in Labor and Delivery. She took a brief break to learn the ‘behind the scenes’ business end of hospital care which eventually left her longing to return to patient care and moms and babies. Lactation was the perfect fit!

After her own less than optimal birth experience, Maryanne found the path to midwifery. She feels that working with women throughout their lifespan and during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives creates a bond between patient and clinician that is unlike any other.

Lori is a practicing board-certified pediatrician at Advocate Medical Group in the northern suburbs of Chicago. She was drawn to pediatrics for many reasons; the love of watching children grow, the chance to be a trusted adult in their lives and to help prevent illness or injury. She’s married and has twins who are now in college.

From adolescence, through childbearing and menopause, Lisa works with women as a nurse-midwife and is a strong advocate for women of all ages. She is married with 4 kids who do “all the sports.” When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her on a field or rink somewhere in Wisconsin.

She’s a go-getting mother of two who is double board-certified in general pediatrics and hospital medicine and is currently an assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Jessica is a psychotherapist that believes that listening to a patient's story can help create a collaborative alliance. This can result in better coping skills, a feeling of empowerment, and an overall improvement in a patient's quality of life. Away from the clinic Jessica and her husband enjoy their two German Shepherds, and they love training for triathlons and not taking life too seriously.
Andrea DuMez, RN

Andrea has an unwavering passion for children and community. She began her nursing career in Oncology for Advocate Aurora Health, pausing for a few years to stay at home with her four babies. Motherhood was transformative for her and ignited a desire to help moms be better moms. After forming a non-profit for teenaged moms with a friend, Andrea returned to Advocate Aurora as a labor and delivery nurse: a perfect fit for her talents.
