Rachel’s chiropractic treatments include spinal and extremity manipulation, soft tissue release techniques, and rehabilitative services. At home in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, with her husband, two kids, and two adorable boxer dogs, she likes to paddle-board when the weather is nice, loves to read and sew, and practices yoga.

Lori is a practicing board-certified pediatrician at Advocate Medical Group in the northern suburbs of Chicago. She was drawn to pediatrics for many reasons; the love of watching children grow, the chance to be a trusted adult in their lives and to help prevent illness or injury. Lori has continued her education with a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil center at the University of Arizona, which will be completed in 2021. She is also the Medical Director in Integrative Medicine at two sites within the Advocate Aurora system in Illinois. She sees her role as a general pediatrician as a way to assist parents in navigating through the predictable parts of child development and those unique to their child, so they become the go-to experts in allowing their child to flourish. She loves to dance, travel, connect with friends and family, and hang out on her front porch reading with her dogs.

Lisa didn’t take the textbook path into medicine but knew her true calling to be a midwife at the tender age of 5. Prior to midwifery, she was a Women’s Health Practitioner, a Labor and Delivery Nurse, and a Pediatric Registered Nurse. She’s always working on the balance between chaos at home and work, and in her spare time she’s an avid runner, food connoisseur, and travel addict.

Jessica has been practicing for over 5 years and has worked in all levels of care including residential, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. She currently works at Aurora Behavioral Health and enjoys treating individuals with a range of mental health concerns including addiction, anxiety disorders, women’s health & wellness, family of origin issues, and trauma disorders. She is passionate about improving people’s understanding of mind-body connection and how this affects one's state of mind and overall wellness.

Christy is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and has a love for working in Labor and Delivery. She took a brief break to learn the ‘behind the scenes’ business end of hospital care which eventually left her longing to return to patient care and moms and babies. Christy currently works for Advocate Aurora Health, serving new moms with babies in the NICU, as well as providing both inpatient and outpatient postpartum care. Outside of work, Christy has an active and rapidly changing family life. She has been married for 23 years and has three children. Two of Christy's children are graduating college this year and one is just beginning high school. She and her husband are constantly learning in this new season of life!
Maryanne Scherer, CNM

Maryanne earned her Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Milwaukee and her Master of Science in Nursing from Marquette University. She has served on the board for the Wisconsin Affiliate of the American College of Nurse Midwives and has taught undergraduate nursing at Milwaukee School of Engineering and Marquette University. Maryanne works at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, providing well-woman care, contraceptive counseling, pre-conception care, as well as prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care. In her free time she enjoys hiking, canoeing and camping with her husband, son and dog.
Lauren Walsh, MD

Lauren is a board-certified family medicine physician with Advocate Aurora Health who also provides obstetric care for her patients. She currently works as a faculty member of a rural family medicine residency. Lauren grew up on a farm and, as a result, has been present for all kinds of births and is passionate about helping women through pregnancy.
